How generous is Berry College's financial aid?

Hey everyone! I'm really considering applying to Berry College but I'm kind of unsure about their financial aid. Does anyone have any experience with their financial aid packages? Are they known for being pretty generous or should I expect more loans than grants? Thanks in advance!

Berry College is known for its solid financial aid packages, with about 99% of students receiving some form of financial assistance, including scholarships, grants, and loans. Berry offers both need-based and merit-based aid.

Need-based aid can include both grants and loans. The college demonstrates a commitment to meet demonstrated financial need with a combination of grants, loans, and work opportunities for eligible students. To apply for need-based aid, be sure to complete the FAFSA and the CSS Profile.

Merit-based aid is another important component of Berry's financial aid. The college offers a variety of merit scholarships for academic achievement, leadership, and talents. These scholarships do not require a separate application and are awarded based on your admission application. You can check out some of the available scholarships here: https://www.berry.edu/scholarships-and-aid/berry-scholarships.

In general, Berry College has a strong financial aid program and strives to make education accessible. However, the exact details of your financial aid package will depend on your personal financial situation, demonstrated need, and merit achievements. To get an estimate of what your financial aid package would look like, I recommend using Berry's Net Price Calculator on their website. This tool can provide a personalized estimate based on your family's income and other factors.

Keep in mind that each student's experience may vary, so it's always helpful to read stories from current and former students about their financial aid experiences.
