Duke Average ACT Score

I'm really interested in applying to Duke, but I'm not sure if my ACT score is good enough. Does anyone know what the average ACT score is for admitted students? Thanks in advance!

The average ACT score for admitted students at Duke generally falls within the range of 33-35. It's important to keep in mind that while standardized test scores are a significant part of the admissions process, they are not the sole factor. Duke, like many other selective universities, utilizes a holistic admissions process, which means they consider a wide range of factors, including your academic performance, extracurricular involvement, essays, and recommendations.

If your ACT score is around the average or slightly below, it's still possible to be a competitive applicant if the other aspects of your application are strong. However, if you feel that your score doesn't accurately represent your abilities, you might consider retaking the ACT to improve your chances. A higher score will likely make your application more competitive, but remember that it's crucial to focus on the other aspects of your application as well.

Good luck with your college application process!
