Hi everyone, I'm interested in applying to Seton Hall University. Does anyone know if they're test-optional, or do they require you to submit your SAT/ACT scores? I'm having a hard time finding the answer on their website.
Seton Hall University is indeed test-optional, so you have the option not to submit your SAT or ACT scores when applying. This policy was implemented in response to the pandemic and continues to be in place for future application cycles. By choosing test-optional, your application will be evaluated primarily based on your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, essays, and recommendation letters.
That said, if you have a strong SAT or ACT score that you believe would enhance your application, you are still welcome to submit it. An outstanding test score can boost your application and showcase your academic abilities. However, if you believe your test score might be a weak point on your application, opting for test-optional would likely be the best choice in your situation.
Regardless of whether or not you submit test scores, make sure to present a solid and well-rounded application that highlights your strengths in other areas. Good luck with your application to Seton Hall!
