University of Chicago and SAT scores

Hi all! So, I'm considering applying to the University of Chicago and I'm unsure if they require SAT scores as part of the application. Can anyone confirm if they do or not?

Hi there! The University of Chicago, like many colleges nowadays, has adopted a test-optional policy. This means that submitting SAT scores is not required, and you can choose whether or not to include them as part of your application. If you feel that your SAT scores accurately reflect your abilities and would strengthen your application, you should consider submitting them. On the other hand, if you think your scores might not represent your true potential, you can apply without them, and the school will evaluate your application based on other factors such as your GPA, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation.

In summary, SAT scores are optional for the University of Chicago application, and the decision to submit them depends on whether you think they will enhance your overall application. Good luck with your college application process!
