When are SAT tests scheduled?

Hey guys, I need to plan my SAT test date, but I'm not sure when the tests are usually held. Can anyone tell me when to expect the SAT tests throughout the year?

Hello! The SAT is typically offered seven times a year in the United States: in August, October, November, December, March, May, and June. The specific dates can be found on the College Board website.

Keep in mind that registration deadlines are usually around a month before the actual test date, and there may also be late registration deadlines (with additional fees) for those who miss the regular deadline. It's a good idea to plan in advance and decide which test dates work best for you based on your academic and extracurricular commitments, to both avoid any scheduling conflicts and maximize your preparation time.

It's also worth noting that the College Board may announce additional test dates or change existing dates. So, always double-check the official College Board website for the most up-to-date information regarding SAT test dates and registration deadlines.

Finally, if you're looking for tips on how to maximize your score on the SAT (once you've chosen a test date), check out this blog post from CollegeVine: https://blog.collegevine.com/10-tips-to-improve-your-sat-score/. Good luck with your preparation!
