When does Early Action (EA) begin?

I'm considering applying early to some colleges but can't find a specific date for when early action starts. Can someone tell me when I should submit my application for EA?

Early Action (EA) application deadlines typically fall around November 1st or November 15th for most colleges. However, the specific deadline can vary from school to school. It's important to research the colleges you're interested in and look at their admissions websites for the exact EA deadlines.

In addition to the deadlines, the application period usually begins when the Common Application or the college's own application system opens for the upcoming admissions cycle. This is often around August 1st, when you can start working on your application and submit it any time before the EA deadline.

Keep in mind that some colleges have restrictive or single-choice early action, which means you can't apply early to other private colleges if you choose to do so for that specific school. Make sure you understand the rules associated with the early action program at each college you're considering.

To ensure you don't miss the deadline, I recommend creating a plan and timeline for completing each part of your application, including essays, gathering recommendation letters, and completing any required standardized tests. This will help you stay on track and submit your application before the EA deadline. Good luck with your applications!
