Taking the PSAT

Hello! I'm planning on taking the PSAT soon, but I'm not sure where it's usually held. Are PSATs conducted only in high schools or are there other locations too? Any help would be appreciated!

Hello! The PSAT is typically offered at high schools, as well as some other approved testing centers. Your own high school may administer the PSAT, or you could take it at a nearby high school or testing center.

It's important to note that, starting from Fall 2023, the PSAT is now offered in a digital format. However, you still need to take the test at an approved testing site, and it's not available to be taken from home.

To find a testing location, you should contact your school's guidance counselor or your school's testing coordinator. They should be able to provide you with information on the available testing locations and how to register for the PSAT.

Remember that the PSAT is usually offered in October, so it's a good idea to start gathering information and preparing early in the school year. Good luck, and happy studying!
