Babson University SAT Scores

Hi all! I'm really interested in Babson University and wanted to know more about the average SAT scores for admitted students. Does anyone have a general idea about what I should be aiming for to increase my chances of getting accepted? Would appreciate any help!

Hello! Babson University is a highly-regarded institution, particularly known for its business and entrepreneurship programs. While Babson has a test-optional policy for the 2024-2025 application cycle, getting an idea of the average SAT scores for admitted students is still a good idea at competitive school like Babson.

For students who submitted their SAT scores, the middle 50% range for Babson's enrolling class in recent years was approximately 1430–1510. This statistic means 25% of the admitted students at Babson had scores below this range, 25% had scores above it, and 50% fell within it. Aiming for a score within or above this middle 50% range would certainly be helpful for your application.

Nonetheless, don't forget that Babson, like many other colleges, practices a holistic review process - they'll evaluate various aspects of your application, including your academic record, extracurricular involvement, and essays. So while a strong SAT score can be a great asset, it's also essential to ensure your strengths come across in each piece of your application.

Finally, if you're unsure whether you should submit an SAT score to Babson, or take advantage of their test-optional policies, check out this blog post from CollegeVine, which provides detailed guidance on how to navigate test-optional policies: https://blog.collegevine.com/does-test-optional-mean-test-optional

I hope this information helps, and good luck with your application to Babson University!
