What's the Minimum GPA for ASU?

Hi peeps! Been looking into ASU (Arizona State University), but I'm a bit worried about my GPA. Does anyone know the minimum GPA for admission to ASU? Just want to make sure I stand a chance.

Hello! While Arizona State University (ASU) does not have an official minimum GPA requirement for general admission, they typically look for a 3.0 GPA, unweighted, for four-year high school students. However, it's important to note that this is not a strict cutoff, and ASU takes multiple factors into account during the admissions process. They also consider your high school coursework, standardized test scores, class rank, and extracurricular involvement.

If your GPA is slightly below a 3.0, don't be discouraged. Focus on other elements of your application, such as a strong essay, letters of recommendation, and involvement in extracurriculars. You can learn more about ASU admissions here: https://admission.asu.edu/apply/student-type. Showcasing a well-rounded application can still give you a chance at admission. Best of luck with your application to ASU!
