PSAT Score Check: When and how?

Hey, I recently took the PSAT and I'm wondering how and when I can check my scores? Is there a specific website I should use, and when should I expect the scores to be available? Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey there! After taking the PSAT, you can expect your scores to be available about 6-8 weeks after the test date. To access your scores, you'll need to log into your College Board account at collegeboard.org. If you haven't created an account yet, it's essential to do so since College Board is responsible for administering the PSAT, as well as other tests like the SAT and AP exams.

Once your scores are available, College Board will send you an email notification. You can then log into your account, navigate to the PSAT section, and view your scores. Along with your scores, you'll also find valuable data about your performance, such as your strengths and areas for improvement.

Keep in mind, the PSAT is not only a valuable practice opportunity for the SAT, but it also serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) if you take it in your junior year. High-scoring juniors may be eligible for National Merit recognition, which can lead to scholarship opportunities and other academic recognition.

Good luck, and I hope this helps!
