ASU ACT Requirement?

I'm looking into applying to Arizona State University (ASU), but I'm unsure if they require the ACT or not. Any insight on whether submitting ACT scores is necessary or not?

Arizona State University (ASU) has adopted a test-optional policy for the 2024-2025 application cycle, which means that submitting an ACT score is not required for admission consideration. You can choose whether or not to include your ACT scores as part of your application. If you believe your ACT score will strengthen your application, you can submit it. If you feel that your scores do not show your full academic potential, you can choose not to submit them without negative consequences.

ASU evaluates all applicants on a holistic basis, by taking into account various aspects like academic performance, rigor of coursework, extracurricular activities, leadership potential, and other personal qualities. So, even without an ACT score, you can still have a strong application if you demonstrate achievements and qualities in other areas.

If you're unsure whether submitting an ACT score would be a good idea for you personally, I'd recommend checking out this blog post from CollegeVine, which provides a thorough breakdown of how to navigate test-optional policies: https://blog.collegevine.com/does-test-optional-mean-test-optional/. Good luck with your application!
