What SAT score do I need to get into Texas A&M?

Howdy! Can anyone give me a general idea of the SAT score range needed for admission to Texas A&M University? I'd love to know what I might need to aim for in order to have a good shot. Thanks, y'all!

Hello! It's a great idea to set a goal for your SAT score when looking at specific colleges. For Texas A&M University, the middle 50% SAT score range for admitted students is typically around 1150-1370. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1150, while another 25% scored above 1370.

To have a strong chance of being admitted, it's wise to aim for AT LEAST the 75th percentile score of 1370, as this would put you in the top 25% of admitted students based on SAT scores. Keep in mind that Texas A&M considers other aspects of your application, such as GPA, extracurricular activities, and essays, as part of its holistic review process.

However, a higher SAT score can still boost your chances, so it's beneficial to strive for the highest score possible. Make sure to devote ample time to test preparation, utilizing resources like practice exams and study materials. And remember, admissions to Texas A&M can still be competitive, so it's important to balance your stats with strong extracurriculars and a well-crafted application.

Best of luck with your SAT preparation and application to Texas A&M!
