Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone knows whether Brown University requires the SAT for admissions or not? I'm trying to decide which tests to take, and I would appreciate any input!
Hello! As of the 2024-2025 application cycle, Brown University will begin requiring standardized test scores again. This means that you must submit your SAT (or ACT!) scores as part of your application.
That being said, other aspects of your application, such as your GPA, extracurriculars, letters of recommendation, and essays, will hold more weight if you decide not to submit test scores. So, ensure those parts of your application are strong and reflect your skills and experiences well. Best of luck with your college applications!
