What about SAT scores at Northeastern?

So, I know ACT scores are important, but what about the SAT? Could anyone tell me the average SAT score for students accepted at Northeastern University? I really want to put my best foot forward in terms of test scores.

For the Northeastern University, the average SAT score for the middle 50% of admitted students generally falls between 1468 and 1540. Keep in mind this range only represents the middle 50%, meaning 25% of admitted students scored below 1480 and 25% scored above 1540.

To increase your chances of admission, you should aim to score within or above this range. However, it is essential to remember that Northeastern considers test scores as just one component of your application. In fact, as Northeastern is test optional, you may choose not to submit them at all, if you don't believe they will boost your chances at admission. In addition to competitive test scores, the university looks at your grades, extracurricular activities, essays, and recommendations to evaluate your overall profile and determine your admissibility. Focus on presenting a well-rounded and distinctive application that showcases your strengths and accomplishments. We recommend doing some research on Northeastern so you can tailor your application to the school's offerings. Look up programs you're interested in, Northeastern's unique offerings, or even take a virtual tour, so you can showcase what a great fit you'd be.

Good luck with your application to Northeastern!
