Hey, does anyone know if the PSAT is available in a digital format? I heard some rumors about it but I'm not sure.
Yes, starting from spring 2024, the PSAT/NMSQT switched to a digital format. The structure of the digital PSAT/NMSQT is as follows:
Reading and Writing: two 32-minute modules, to complete 54 questions. You have about 71 seconds per question.
Math: two 35-minute modules, to complete 44 questions. You have 96 seconds per question, or a little over a minute and a half.
The total duration of the digital PSAT/NMSQT is 134 minutes, with 98 questions to complete.
Although the test is now digital, you'll still need to take it at a school or testing center, as it cannot be taken from home. To familiarize yourself with the digital format of the PSAT/NMSQT, you can use the Bluebook™ app to preview the test and take a full-length practice test. This will give you a feel for the digital format and help you prepare for the actual test day.
