Perfect Score for ACT

Hey guys, I was just wondering what the perfect score for the ACT is? I know the SAT's perfect score is 1600, but I'm not sure about the ACT. Also, how rare is it for someone to get a perfect score? Thanks for any info!

Hello! The perfect score for the ACT is a 36, which is the highest possible composite score you can achieve. This composite score is calculated by averaging your scores in the four sections: English, Math, Reading, and Science, each of which is also scored on a scale from 1 to 36.

Regarding the rarity of achieving a perfect ACT score, it is quite rare. Statistically, less than 1% of test-takers achieve a 36 on the ACT. In recent years, it has been reported that around 3,000 to 5,000 students out of approximately 1.9 million annual test-takers manage to achieve a perfect score, so it's certainly a noteworthy accomplishment.

If you're wondering how these students manage to earn such a high score, you can check out this blog post from CollegeVine, which contains some guidance on how to maximize your chances of earning a perfect 36 on the ACT: https://blog.collegevine.com/how-to-get-a-perfect-36-act-score/. I hope you find this information helpful!
