Is it possible to get into an Ivy League school with a B average?

I've gotten mostly B's throughout high school but have really strong extracurriculars and leadership roles. Is it still possible for me to get into an Ivy League school, or should I set my sights on different colleges?

Hey there! While it's true that Ivy League schools generally look for students with excellent academic records, other factors such as strong extracurriculars and leadership roles can also play a significant role in the admissions process. Each application is evaluated holistically, which means that they look at the entire picture rather than focusing solely on grades.

However, there is no way around the fact that Ivy League schools are highly competitive, and the students most likely to be accepted are those who have consistently achieved grades at the top of their class. So, consider researching other schools that still align with your interests and strengths, but which more commonly accept students with academic profiles that match your own.

In summary, while it's not impossible to get into an Ivy League school with a B average, it might be tough. Don't hesitate to apply, but also explore other excellent colleges that could be a better fit for you. Good luck!
