I'm interested in applying to the Fashion Institute of Technology, but I can't find any info on their SAT requirements. Does anyone know if they require SAT scores for admission?
The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) does not currently require SAT scores for admission. Instead, FIT focuses on other aspects of your application, such as your high school transcript, your essay, and your portfolio (for some majors).
That said, test scores are optional if applying to the Presidential Scholars (Honors) Program. Also, if submitted, SAT and ACT test scores will be used for placement into English and Math classes at FIT.
It's important to make sure you meet FIT's admission requirements and deadlines. Keep in mind that having strong academic performance, a compelling essay, and a creative portfolio can strengthen your application and increase your chances of admission, even without submitting standardized test scores.
