Baylor's SAT requirement?

Hello everyone! In the process of preparing for college applications, I need to know if Baylor has specific requirements for the SAT. I know some schools are test-optional now. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

As of the 2024-2025 application cycle, Baylor University is test-optional. This policy means that you are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores as a part of your application. If you feel your test scores accurately represent your academic abilities and would strengthen your application, you can choose to submit them. However, if you believe your test scores do not represent your academic potential or you do not have test scores, you can apply without them.

Keep in mind that when applying test-optional, other aspects of your application, such as your grades, coursework, essays, and extracurricular activities, will be more heavily relied upon to evaluate your application. If you decide to apply without submitting SAT scores, it's important to ensure the other parts of your application are strong enough to speak to your potential as a Baylor student on their own.

If you want more detailed guidance on how to navigate test-optional policies, I'd recommend checking out this blog post from CollegeVine: https://blog.collegevine.com/does-test-optional-mean-test-optional/. Good luck with your college applications!
