Morehouse College ACT requirements?

I'm applying to Morehouse College and I want to know more about their ACT requirements. Do they have a minimum score for the ACT? Is there a specific section they focus on more? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Morehouse College, like many other colleges, does not have a strict minimum ACT score requirement for admission. However, to gauge your chances at Morehouse, it is helpful to look at the middle 50% ACT score range of accepted students. For Morehouse College, the middle 50% ACT score range is between 18 and 25. If your score falls within this range, you are likely a competitive applicant in terms of ACT scores.

There isn't a specific section of the ACT that Morehouse focuses on more than any other section. However, it's always a good idea to perform well on all sections of the ACT since a strong and balanced performance demonstrates your well-roundedness and academic abilities.

The other important thing to know about Morehouse is that it's currently test-optional. So, if you feel your test scores don't represent the best of what you can do, you may choose not to submit them. To learn more about how to make this important decision, I recommend you check out our blog post on the subject: https://blog.collegevine.com/does-test-optional-mean-test-optional/.

Keep in mind that Morehouse College also looks at various other factors beyond test scores, including your high school transcript, extracurricular involvement, essays, and letters of recommendation. While your ACT score is important, having a comprehensive and competitive application is key for increasing your chances of being accepted into Morehouse College. Good luck!
