Schools that don't use Common App

Hello, everybody! So, I've mainly been working on my Common App for my applications, but I'm wondering if there are any good schools that don't use the Common App. Just in case I miss out on something good, you know? Any suggestions?

Sure, there are several reputable schools that don't use the Common App. Instead, they opt for their own application systems or use other platforms like the Coalition Application or the University of California (UC) application. Here are some examples:

1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - They have their own application portal called MyMIT.

2. Georgetown University - Georgetown also utilizes its own application portal.

3. The entire University of California system, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Merced, all use the UC Application.

4. The California State University system, which includes 23 campuses like Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Fullerton, and San Diego State, uses the Cal State Apply application.

5. University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University, among others, use ApplyTexas.

6. Some schools, like Clemson University and the University of Florida, accept applications via the Coalition Application. We have a whole article on the Coalition App - check it out here: https://blog.collegevine.com/which-schools-use-the-coalition-application/.

It's important to note that schools with their own application systems might have different essay prompts, requirements, and deadlines compared to the Common App. Be sure to research each school's specific requirements and deadlines to ensure you're submitting a complete and accurate application.

Good luck with your college applications!
