Hey everyone! I recently received my SAT scores and got a 1500. I'm proud of my score, but I'm not sure if it's strong enough to apply to Ivy League schools. Would you guys say it's competitive or should I try to improve it? Thanks in advance for your input!
Hey there! Congratulations on getting a 1500 on your SAT! That's a great accomplishment. While a 1500 is not an absolute guarantee for Ivy League admissions, it's certainly a competitive score. If you feel like you can improve it, you could always attempt taking the exam again. However, admission to top colleges is not solely based on test scores. Your extracurricular activities, essays, and recommendations will also play a significant role in the admissions process. For example, my child got into an Ivy League school with an SAT score just slightly higher than yours, but they had a very well-rounded application in terms of academics and extracurriculars. So if you spend time focusing on your overall application, you can definitely stand a chance at getting into an Ivy League school. Best of luck with your college admissions journey!
