Harvard's testing policy?

Hi there! I know testing policies have been changing a lot recently... Can someone please let me know what Harvard's current testing policy is? Like, are they test-optional or test-flexible? Or do they still require SAT/ACT scores for admissions?

As of the 2024-2025 application cycle, Harvard University has discontinued its test-optional policy and now requires all applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of their application. So, for this application cycle and moving forward, you will need to include standardized test scores when applying to Harvard. Remember to plan and prepare accordingly to ensure you can take the test and receive your scores in time for application deadlines.

On a separate note, if you want tips on how to strengthen your overall application to Harvard, beyond just your test scores, check out this blog post from CollegeVine, which breaks down how to tackle their school-specific supplemental essays: https://blog.collegevine.com/how-to-write-the-harvard-university-essays/. Good luck!
