What is the size of University of Oregon?

Hey everyone, I've been researching University of Oregon and one thing that's important to me is the size of the campus and student body. Does anyone know if UO is a big campus with a large student population, or is it more of a small campus with a tight-knit community? Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello! University of Oregon (UO) is classified as a large campus, both in terms of physical size and student population. The campus itself is spread over 295 acres, providing ample space for its various academic buildings, residence halls, and athletic facilities.

In terms of student population, UO has around 23,800 students enrolled, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. About 19,900 of these students are undergraduates. While this may indicate a larger community than you'd find at a small liberal arts college, there are still opportunities for forming connections and finding your niche within the diverse student body. UO offers a variety of clubs, organizations, and smaller academic communities to help facilitate relationships and a sense of belonging. So while the campus and population are indeed quite large, you'll still have plenty of chances to find your place within the University of Oregon community.
