Cal Poly demographics?

I've been researching Cal Poly SLO and am curious about the student population there. Can anyone share some info about the race demographics at the school? I'd like to have a diverse college experience.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO) is known for its emphasis on hands-on learning experiences and its strong programs in engineering, architecture, and agriculture. In terms of race demographics, here are the latest available statistics:

- White: 50%

- Hispanic/Latino: 23%

- Asian: 14%

- Two or more races: 8%

- Non-resident Alien: 1%

- Black or African American: 1%

- Unknown: 3%

- American Indian or Alaska Native: less than 1%

- Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander: less than 1%

As you can see, Cal Poly SLO has a majority white population, but there's a decent representation of Hispanic/Latino and Asian students as well. It's important to note that while racial diversity can contribute to a diverse college experience, you should also consider factors like socio-economic diversity, international student population, and opportunities to engage with a variety of student clubs and organizations. Cal Poly SLO has over 300 clubs and organizations and various cultural resources on campus, allowing you to engage with, learn from, and collaborate with students from different backgrounds and perspectives.

You might also want to visit the campus and attend some events to get a better feel for the environment and the diversity of experiences available to you at the school. That being said, I encourage you to continue your research and consider other factors that may contribute to the diverse college experience you're looking for.
