GPA calculator for TCC?

Hey y'all, I'm currently at TCC (Tarrant County College) and I'm having some trouble calculating my GPA. Does anyone know of a reliable GPA calculator I can use that would be relevant for TCC? Much appreciated!

Hey there! While I can't provide a specific calculator designed solely for TCC, I can suggest using a general online GPA calculator that should work well for your needs. You'll just need to make sure you follow TCC's GPA calculation method when inputting your information into the calculator.

When calculating your GPA, you'll need to assign a point value to each letter grade you received:

- A = 4.0

- B = 3.0

- C = 2.0

- D = 1.0

- F = 0.0

+/- grading will alter the point values by 0.3: A- would be 3.7, B+ would be 3.3, etc. Once you've determined the point value for each of your letter grades, multiply each individual point value by the number of credit hours that particular course is worth. Then, sum up the total of all these values.

Next, add up the credit hours for all the courses you've taken. Finally, divide the sum of the weighted point values by the total credit hours to obtain your GPA. While this process may seem a bit complicated, essentially all you're doing is averaging the points you've earned over the total number of credits/courses. Best of luck!
