SUNY Albany In-State Tuition

Hey everyone, I'm currently researching SUNY Albany as one of my potential schools. I'm from New York, so I'd be an in-state student. Does anyone here know about their current in-state tuition costs and other fees? Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

Hello! SUNY Albany is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, which offers lower tuition for in-state students. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the in-state tuition for full-time undergraduate students at SUNY Albany is $9,000 per academic year. However, this number does not include additional fees, room and board, or other expenses.

Keep in mind that these costs are subject to change, and you should always confirm the most up-to-date information with the school's official website or by reaching out to their financial aid office. Additionally, financial aid options like the Excelsior Scholarship, the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) might help cover part or all of the costs of attending SUNY Albany, so be sure to explore those resources as well.

By filling out the FAFSA and exploring New York State financial aid programs, you may be able to make your college education more affordable. Good luck with your college search!
