UMass Lowell SAT Scores: What's Competitive?

I'm applying to UMass Lowell this year, and I'm curious about what SAT scores are competitive for admission. Does anyone have any information on average SAT scores or a range that would be considered safe for admission? Thanks!

UMass Lowell is a moderately selective school, so it's essential to have a competitive SAT score to increase your chances of admission. Based on recent admissions data, the middle 50% range of admitted students' SAT scores is between 1170 and 1340. This means that 25% of accepted students scored below 1170, and 25% scored above 1340.

To be on the safer side for admission, you'd want to aim for a score within or above this range to be considered competitive. Keep in mind that UMass Lowell also reviews your application holistically, taking into account your GPA, course rigor, extracurriculars, and essays in addition to your SAT score. While having a strong SAT score is crucial, it's just one aspect of your application.

Good luck with your application process, and remember that preparing well and aiming for a high SAT score will only bolster your chances of admission to UMass Lowell!
