Struggling to decide between two schools for Early Decision. Any advice?

Hey everyone, I'm a bit stressed out trying to decide between two schools for Early Decision. They're both great, but each has its own strengths and weaknesses. One has a better location and strong alumni network, while the other has better facilities and research opportunities for my intended major (biology). Can anyone offer some advice to help me make up my mind? Thank you!

Hi there! It's normal to feel stressed about making such a big decision, and I completely understand your dilemma. When choosing between schools, it's important to consider both academic and personal factors.

Since you're interested in biology, it might be a good idea to delve deeper into the research opportunities and facilities at the second school. In particular, consider if the research being done there aligns with your interests and how accessible these opportunities are for undergraduate students.

On the other hand, the location and alumni network are also important factors, as they can play a significant role in your overall college experience and post-graduation opportunities. Try reaching out to current students or alumni to gain insights into the quality of campus life and networking at the first school.

You may even consider drafting a pros and cons list for each school to help clarify your priorities. Ultimately, go with the school that you believe best aligns with your academic, career, and personal goals. Good luck!
