Anyone studying at Shippensburg University willing to share some experience?

Hey y'all! I am looking at Shippensburg University and still not sure what I want to go in for. I was wondering if some current students could share their experiences with the different majors offered there? A little stressed and trying to make the right choice!

Sure, it's normal to feel a bit stressed when trying to make such decision. Your major can have a big impact on your academic experience. Shippensburg offerings range from Business, Education, Arts and Sciences and Applied Sciences and many more.

Business and Education are two areas where the university has traditionally excelled. The John L. Grove College of Business is AACSB-accredited, which is a high standard for business schools that only 5% of them worldwide meet. Additionally, the College of Education and Human Services has a long history preparing educators and boasts numerous academic partnerships with local school districts allowing for practical experience.

Students of the College of Arts and Sciences speak highly of a wide breadth of courses available to them, from the humanities to the natural sciences. Although a bit less known, the College of Applied Sciences also has a special place, with programs like Software Engineering and Computer Networking getting respectable recognition.

A point to note is while your major plays a major role, it's also about how you utilize what the university offers overall; clubs, internship opportunities, the career development center can all further enrich your experience and equip you for your career path.

Just remember to remain open, explore different areas of interest, and don't forget to engage in extracurricular activities that permit you to learn from a different angle. Having a balance in activities and studies usually results in a well-rounded university experience. That's what will ultimately count towards making your university life memorable and successful.
