Good engineering schools in Colorado?

Hey everyone! I'm a junior in high school and I'm really interested in pursuing engineering. I'd like to stay in Colorado, so can anyone recommend some good engineering schools in the state?

Certainly! Colorado is home to several excellent engineering schools. Below are a few worth considering:

1. Colorado School of Mines (Golden, CO): This highly-regarded institution specializes in engineering and applied sciences. Known for its strong programs in geological, civil, and environmental engineering, the School of Mines also offers other engineering disciplines such as chemical, electrical, mechanical, and more.

2. University of Colorado Boulder (Boulder, CO): UC Boulder's College of Engineering and Applied Science is another strong choice. They offer a variety of engineering programs such as aerospace, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering, as well as interdisciplinary options.

3. Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO): CSU's Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering provides programs in several engineering fields, including biomedical, chemical and biological, civil and environmental, electrical and computer, and mechanical engineering.

4. University of Denver (Denver, CO): The Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science at University of Denver offers undergraduate programs in electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering, as well as interdisciplinary options like mechatronics and engineering-specific minors.

5. University of Colorado Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, CO): UCCS's College of Engineering and Applied Science provides opportunities to study electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering, with a focus on hands-on experience and industry connections.

These schools all have solid engineering programs, so I'd recommend checking out their websites and visiting their campuses if you can to determine which environment and program offerings best suit your needs and preferences. Good luck in your search!
