Best art education in Colorado?

Hey! I'm a junior starting to look at colleges with strong art programs. I'm particularly interested in Colorado. Can anyone recommend colleges or universities there known for their art programs? Thanks in advance peeps!

Hello there! It's cool that you're searching for art programs in Colorado. Two schools immediately come to mind:

1. University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder): CU Boulder has a comprehensive College of Arts and Sciences, including a Department of Art and Art History. They offer robust programs in painting and drawing, ceramics, sculpture, integrated arts, printmaking, and media, and much more. The department prides itself on its interdisciplinary approach, and students often engage in a variety of techniques to create their work.

2. Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design (RMCAD): Bagging a serious reputation for fine arts education, RMCAD offers a breadth of art-related degrees, from Animation to Fashion Design to Graphic Design. Their curriculum tends to be quite up-to-date and industry-focused, often blending artistry with the technological aspects of design.

As you continue your research, remember to look at the types of classes offered, faculty, facilities, opportunities for exhibitions, and career services. Also, connect with current students or alumni if you can, as they can offer insights that you can't find in a brochure. Best of luck in your art school search!
