Hi everyone, I scored a 1360 on my SAT but I've been hearing that the ACT might be a better fit for me. What equivalent ACT score should I be aiming for? Just a little confused and trying to make sense of it all!
The College Board and ACT actually provide a concordance table, which is a type of conversion chart. According to that chart, an SAT score of 1360 would be equivalent to an ACT score of about 30. This is of course an approximation, but it gives you a good benchmark to aim for.
Remember, each test is different and while one may seem easier or more intuitive based on your study habits or test-taking strategy, colleges don't have a preference for either. It's all about playing to your strengths; if you believe the ACT structure would be more conducive to your performance, then by all means shift your focus to that test. Good luck with your preparations!
