Advice for UF SAT score?

Hi, it's ur friendly neighborhood junior! Getting kinda anxious ngl. I'm applying to University of Florida and I'm curious to know if anyone has any advice on what SAT scores the University of Florida usually seeks? Appreciate any guidance!

The University of Florida is a competitive public institution, and the SAT scores of accepted students range widely. The middle 50% SAT range for students accepted into UF is typically around 1320-1470. This means that 25% of the accepted students scored below 1320 and 25% scored above 1470.

But keep in mind that the SAT does not make or break the application. The University of Florida will consider various factors, including your high school curriculum, GPA, letters of recommendation, essay, and extracurricular activities. Having strong extracurricular activities, especially ones in which you demonstrate leadership skills or significant accomplishments, can add value to your application.

Try to aim for a score within or above the middle 50% range for the best chances of admission. You may consider using free or inexpensive resources to help you prepare for the exam, such as Khan Academy's SAT test prep program, but remember, studying for the SAT should not come at the expense of your grades or extracurricular participation.

On the day of the exam, get a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at the test center early so you can relax before the test starts. As the SAT is now fully digital, it's also crucial to get comfortable with the format of the digital test through the Bluebook™ app where you could simulate a full-length practice test.

Good luck on your journey to college admission!
