Any insight on the SAT scores for University of Michigan?

Hey peeps, I'm wondering if anyone can share the average SAT score for admitted students at University of Michigan? Has COVID-19 changed the score thresholds at all? I've been studying my head off and just want a solid target.

University of Michigan has a competitive admissions process and the SAT scores for admitted students ranged from roughly 1330 to 1530. These are not strict cutoffs, as the university assesses applicants holistically, considering many other aspects like GPA, coursework, extracurricular activities, essays, and more.

With regards to COVID-19, for the 2024-2025 application cycle, the University of Michigan remains test-optional, which means that SAT scores are not required for admission. This policy aims to accommodate applicants who may have faced test cancellations or have been unable to adequately prepare for the test due to the pandemic. However, if you feel your SAT score is a strong point of your application, you can still submit it.

Keep in mind that while a good SAT score is beneficial, it is just one part of your application. Make sure to also focus on the other components of your application like your essays, recommendations, and extracurricular involvement. Each part contributes to your overall application and helps the college understand you better as an individual. Good luck with your preparation!
