I've been looking into Merrimack and love what I'm seeing so far, but my GPA isn't stellar... Does anyone know what their acceptance rate is?
Merrimack College has a fairly competitive acceptance rate. As of recent data, it's about 75%. However, you'll want to keep in mind that while acceptance rate can give you some insight, it's not the whole picture. Colleges consider a variety of factors in their admissions process, including coursework, extracurricular activities, and test scores if provided.
So, when you say your GPA isn't stellar, don't panic right away. GPA isn't the only determinant of whether or not you'll get in. It's also about the level of your coursework (like if you've taken AP courses), your letters of recommendation, your involvement in school and community activities, and your personal essay if one is required.
Remember, colleges are looking at the entire package and how you might contribute to their community. Don't let a non-stellar GPA overshadow your potential and the other positive aspects of your application.
