What are the SAT scores for UMD?

Hi there, I'm currently a junior aiming to apply to University of Maryland next year, and I'm a bit stressed about how my SAT score might stack up. Does anyone have an idea of the average SAT score for accepted students at UMD? I'm not sure if my scores are competitive enough.

The University of Maryland - College Park does not make their average SAT scores public. However, for a better understanding of their academic expectations, consider the middle 50% SAT scores range, which speaks to the large majority of accepted students. According to the University's most recent data, the middle 50% range for admitted students is approximately 1380 to 1510.

This means that about 25% of the students scored 1380 or below, 50% scored between 1380 and 1510, and 25% of the students scored above 1510. If your scores are within or above this range, you can feel quicker confident that your SAT score is competitive for UMD. Keep in mind though, that a strong application to UMD won't just be about SAT scores. Admissions will also consider grades, the rigor of your coursework, your extracurricular involvements, essays, and recommendations.
