The SAT test typically starts between 8:15 and 8:45 am. You have to arrive at the testing center no later than 7:45 am, as that's when the doors close. I'd recommend setting at least one alarm earlier than you think you need to in order to give yourself plenty of time to eat a healthy breakfast and travel to your testing center.
Keep in mind that the night before the test, you should gather everything you need (admission ticket, photo ID, calculator, snacks, etc) so that you won't be stressed about forgetting anything in the morning.
