How to prepare for SAT math?

Hey team, I've been practicing for the SAT lately and honestly, the math section is a nightmare for me. Can anyone share some example questions to give me an idea of what to expect or any advice on how to handle this section?

One strategy for improving your math skills is to start with the SAT's content breakdown. Understanding which topics appear most frequently can help you prioritize your study time. Nearly 60% of the test is heart of algebra and problem-solving and data analysis, while the remaining 40% or so covers additional topics (geometry, trigonometry, etc.) and passport to advanced math.

Here's a sample question:

If f(1) = 2 and f(3) = 4, what is the value of f(1) + f(3)?

A) 12

B) 7

C) 6

D) 3

In this case, the answer would be C) 6. We know f(1) = 2, and f(3) = 4, so adding those together is 6.

On test day, it's important to stay calm and systematic. Write out your work, so you can catch mistakes and backtrack if necessary. Also, since you can use a calculator on both math modules of the digital SAT, getting comfortable with a calculator and knowing what tasks it can help with is important.
