Hey everyone, I'm starting to finalize my college list. I've been looking at U Michigan and I think I might be interested in applying. Do you guys know the average SAT score for accepted students?
The average SAT score for University of Michigan admitted students for the class admitted in Fall 2023 was in the range of 1350-1530. This, however, represents the middle 50%—meaning that 25% of admitted students got above these scores and 25% got below.
But remember, SAT scores are not the only thing that UMichigan considers in their admissions process. A strong academic performance, rigorous course load, strong essays, and well-rounded extracurricular activities can play a significant role in your application. How well you showcase your potential to contribute to and benefit from the university's community and programs is equally, if not more, important! UMichigan has a holistic review process, so every part of your application will be carefully considered. Good luck with your application process!
