Are there any colleges with a similar appeal to Dartmouth, particularly with a strong alumni network?

Dartmouth's close-knit community and strong alumni network are really attractive to me, but I'm trying to find more colleges that share these qualities. Suggestions for schools with a similar vibe but maybe less competitive admissions?

That's a great question, and I think there are definitely some options out there for you to consider. Schools like Colgate University, Middlebury College, or even Williams College might resonate with you. They foster tight-knit communities and also pride themselves on having a robust alumni network. While their admissions processes can still be competitive, they may offer slightly more leeway than what you'd find at Dartmouth.

Another school that often gets compared to Dartmouth is Bates College in Maine. It's known for its close community and strong alumni ties. And don't overlook the importance of liberal arts colleges in general—many tend to have strong community bonds and well-established alumni networks, which can be really beneficial after graduation.

Remember to visit campuses if you can, and try to engage with current students or alumni to get a sense of that community feel and the strength of their networks. Best of luck with your search!
