Hey everyone! Took my ACT a couple of weeks ago and I'm really anxious to get my scores. Does anyone know how long does it normally take for the scores to be released? I've heard it varies, but I'm not really sure.
Normally, ACT scores start to be released 14 days after the test date. This is just the beginning of the score release window - it can take longer depending on numerous variables such as your testing location, whether you took the writing test, and other factors.
If you took the ACT with writing, your multiple choice scores will be posted first, after the 14 day window. Your writing scores, however, may take two additional weeks to be released after your multiple choice scores are available.
Remember, these are general timeframes and sometimes it may take a bit longer. ACT does their best to get everyone's results processed as quickly as possible.
