Online SAT Prep Classes

Hey guys, junior stressing out over here. I'm considering signing up for online SAT prep classes. Can anyone suggest good ones which really helped them boost their score? Preferably something not too expensive. Thanks!

Hello there! I can absolutely understand your anxiety around the SAT. Please remember, preparation is key to achieving a great score!

Khan Academy is a well-known resource that offers free SAT prep. They partnered directly with the makers of the SAT, the College Board, so their materials will be pretty closely aligned to the actual test. They offer plenty of practice questions and full length practice tests along with video tutorials explaining the solutions. This is all free of charge!

Another resource worth checking out is PrepScholar. They offer an online SAT Prep Program which is tailored to your needs based on your strengths and weaknesses. It isn't free, but it's more affordable than many other options.

On top of this, you might want to consider using CollegeVine’s free SAT/ACT study tool. They have a study planner that helps break down your test prep into manageable pieces. They don't offer a specific prep course (like Khan or PrepScholar), but they do have a lot of articles and advice on their blog about how to prep.

In the end, it all comes down to your learning style. Some students flourish with self-study options like Khan Academy, while others do better with more structured courses like PrepScholar. Don’t forget to take full-length practice exams in a test-like environment to identify your weak areas and track your progress. Good luck with your preparation!
