Question about sending SAT scores

Hi guys. I'm a little confused about sending SAT scores. Can I choose which scores to send or is it required to send all of them to the colleges I'm applying to?

Hello! The answer to your question largely depends on each college's policy regarding SAT score submission. This is commonly referred to as a "Score Choice" policy.

Certain colleges do allow you to choose which SAT scores to send. This means you could decide to only send your highest overall SAT score. If you've taken the test multiple times, this method allows you to selectively send the score from your best sitting.

On the other hand, some colleges require that you send all SAT scores from every single test sitting. These schools often follow what's called an "All Scores" policy. They insist on seeing all your SAT scores because they want a full record of your performance on standardized testing.

To learn more about a specific college's policy, I would recommend visiting their admissions website or directly contacting their admissions office, as it can vary significantly from school to school. Remember that all scores should be officially reported through the College Board.

Best of luck with your college applications!
