ACT Requirements for UCLA

Hey guys! I'm working on my UCLA application and was wondering about their ACT requirements. What's the typical range for accepted students? Do they place a lot of emphasis on it? Thanks!

For the 2024-2025 application cycle, UCLA, along with all the other UC schools, has adopted a test-blind admissions process, which means these schools will not consider your ACT (or SAT) scores even if you choose to submit them.

The most competitive applicants take rigorous high school course schedules, including honors, APs or IB classes, and maintain high GPAs. It's also crucial to be actively involved outside of the classroom. Successful UCLA applicants typically have a variety of extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership, commitment, and passion within their area of interest.

In summary, for this cycle and onwards, you don’t need to worry about your ACT score when applying to UCLA. Instead, focus on maintaining your grades and being engaged in your extracurriculars.
