AP Stats: What's Essential for the Formula Sheet?

Hey AP Stats vets, I am in the midst of preparing a formula sheet for my AP Statistics exam prep. Could anyone share their thoughts on what I definitely should include? Please help me out!

Certainly! A successful AP Statistics formula sheet should include key formulas, definitions, and tables. Here's a sample breakdown of what to include:

1) Descriptive Statistics Formulas: This includes measures of central tendency (Mean, Median, Mode), Dispersion (Range, Variance, Standard Deviation), and Position (Percentiles, Quartiles).

2) Probability and Distributions Formulas: Here, include basic probability rules (Addition Rule, Multiplication Rule), conditional probability, and different types of distributions such as Normal distribution, Binomial distribution, and T-distribution.

3) Inferential Statistics Formulas: The most basic formulas of Hypothesis Testing such as Test Statistics (Z-score and T-score) as well as Confidence Intervals and Margins of Error calculations should be included here.

4) Regression Analysis Formulas: This would include formulas for Linear Regression, Coefficient of Determination (R^2), and Correlation Coefficient (r).

5) Experimental Design Terms: While not actual formulas, key terms and concepts in experimental design like Blocking, Randomization, Control, and Replication are important to understand.

6) Chi-Square Tests: Important to understand the formulas for Goodness of Fit and Independence.

7) Tables: Few tables like Z-table, T-table, and Chi-Square table can be helpful.

Organize these categories and their corresponding formulas, definitions, and tables according to your understanding and ease of reference. Don't forget to also understand their applications to different statistical scenarios. Best of luck with your exam!
