What are 'Duke Tips'?

Hi, folks! I've been hearing this term 'Duke Tips' tossed around lately, and I'm a bit confused about what it is. Does anyone know more about this? It seems like it's related to Duke University, but aside from that I'm lost. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Absolutely! Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program) is an initiative by Duke University that identifies academically talented high school students and provides them with opportunities to support their educational and personal growth.

Duke TIP offers various enrichment programs for students in grades 4-12. For high school students, these include academic courses, college-search support, and chances to connect with a larger community of academically motivated students. The programs range from online to residential summer programs, where students get to experience studying on a college campus.

Do note that getting into Duke TIP or doing well in its programs doesn't give students an admissions advantage to Duke or any other university. It's meant to enrich students' educational journey, not provide a boost in college admissions.

Overall, it's a great opportunity for talented students to challenge themselves, explore new academic areas, and connect with similarly driven peers.
