Struggling with stat: Does anyone have a good formula sheet?

Hey folks, struggling with my stat class a bit. I'd really benefit from a comprehensive formula sheet. Do you guys have any recommendations for sources or existing ones that could help me in my studies?

Hello! A formula sheet can definitely be a lifeline when you're trying to get a handle on statistics! Although it's important to note that simply memorizing these formulas won't replace the need to understand the concepts behind them, having a reference could certainly be very useful during your studies.

If you're looking for a physical sheet, your course textbook might have a list of key formulas you can use. Check the back pages, as many textbooks have an index or appendix with vital formulas listed.

On the other hand, you could generate your own personalized formula sheet. As you study and find vital formulas in your lectures or textbooks, write them down in a notebook or a Google Doc, with a brief description of what each one is used for. This method has the added benefit of helping you remember the formulas better, since the act of writing or typing them out can reinforce your memory.

However, if you're looking for an online resource, there are many sites that offer comprehensive formula sheets for statistics. The key is finding one that matches the level and the focus of your specific course, as statistics can vary quite a bit between disciplines. While the CollegeVine platform itself does not provide resources like formula sheets, a quick internet search for terms like "statistics formula sheet" or "statistics reference sheet" should give you several useful results.

Remember, though, the most effective way to grasp these formulas is to practice their application. Try to work problems where you can implement these formulas. Best of luck with your stats class!
