Schools with a community feel like Gonzaga?

Hi friends, I've read cool things about Gonzaga's supportive community and smaller undergraduate focus, but Spokane is pretty far from home. Does anyone know colleges that offer a similar close-knit atmosphere and attention to undergradds, maybe closer to the Midwest or East Coast?

Hi there! It's great you're looking for a school with a community-oriented atmosphere. If you're eyeing the Midwest, consider looking at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. It's a Jesuit institution akin to Gonzaga, known for its community engagement and smaller class sizes that foster a strong sense of belonging among students. Moving east, you might find what you're seeking at Providence College in Rhode Island. It's another school with a similar mission and focus on undergraduate education, passionate about creating a supportive environment. Moreover, if liberal arts colleges appeal to you, they often excel in creating the close-knit community feel you're interested in. Examples include Williams College in Massachusetts and Kenyon College in Ohio, both of which prioritize undergraduate education and boast a tight-knit campus culture. Researching each school's mission statement and visiting campuses, if possible, can give you a better sense of the community they foster. Best of luck finding that perfect fit!
