Understanding Texas A&M SAT Average

Hi everyone, I'm stressing out a little over the Texas A&M SAT average score. Anyone here have the figures and could tell me how high the stakes are?

Sure, I can provide some input on this. Keep in mind that averages can sometimes be a bit deceiving, as half the students score above the average and half score below. However, for Texas A&M, the middle 50% SAT score range is typically around 1150-1370.

This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1150 and 25% scored above 1370. The middle 50% (those between the 25th and 75th percentile) scored within this range.

Remember, though, these are just averages and ranges. There's no way to know exactly what score you need to be admitted. Your test score is just one factor in the holistic admission process. Essays, extracurricular activities, leadership experiences, and your overall academic performance are also critically important. So while aiming for a score within or above this middle 50% range can improve your chances, it's not a guarantee of admission, just as a score below this range doesn't mean you won't get in.

Hope that helps clarify things and takes down the stress levels a notch! Good luck with your application.
